Local residents need to be aware of the opportunities and prepare. Education and training are key to career success with most industry’s jobs requiring high school, college, university, trades apprenticeship training, or years of experience.

In the Northwest Territories, by 2030, 11,000 youth will complete their education journey and be looking for employment. In Nunavut, one third of the territory’s 38,000 people are under 20 years of age.
